GaLouMar provides and coordinates inspections, testing, maintenance and repair services for marine lifesaving and firefighting equipment through its own workshop in Zhoushan and appropriately qualified international service partners.
Lifeboats, Rescue Boats & Launching Appliances
We support inspection, servicing, maintenance and testing requirements for lifeboats, rescue boats, davits, winches, release mechanisms and associated launching and recovery arrangements.
The scope may include annual and five-year thorough examinations, operational testing, equipment condition checks, defect identification, repairs and service documentation.
Activities are arranged in accordance with applicable manufacturer instructions and statutory requirements, including IMO Resolution MSC.402(96) where relevant.
Liferaft Inspection & Servicing
We coordinate periodic inflatable liferaft servicing through appropriately approved service facilities.
Depending on the manufacturer, equipment type and servicing interval, activities may include inspection, inflation and pressure testing, equipment verification, cylinder checks, replacement of consumables and preparation of servicing documentation.
Fixed Firefighting System Servicing
GaLouMar supports inspection, maintenance and technical service coordination for fixed firefighting installations onboard commercial vessels.
Each assignment is reviewed according to the installed system, manufacturer requirements and applicable authorization standards.
Where relevant, activities may include system condition checks, functional verification, periodic maintenance, corrective work and technical documentation.
Portable & Wheeled Firefighting Equipment
We support inspections, servicing, refilling, testing and replacement requirements for portable and wheeled fire extinguishers.
Work is coordinated through appropriately qualified service facilities, taking into account relevant product specifications and service documentation.
SCBA & EEBD Servicing
We support the inspection, testing and maintenance requirements of self-contained breathing apparatus and emergency escape breathing devices.
Depending on the equipment, authorized facility and scope, services may include functional inspections, pressure-related checks, maintenance and replacement of applicable components.
Firefighting Foam Replacement & Tank Cleaning
GaLouMar supports shipowners and managers with coordinated projects involving the assessment and replacement of legacy firefighting foam.
Depending on the vessel and installed system, the scope may include foam analysis, removal and disposal arrangements, tank cleaning, flushing, supply of suitable replacement concentrates, compatibility checks and technical documentation.
Projects are developed according to applicable regulations, manufacturer specifications and system requirements.

Relevant qualifications, manufacturer authorizations and statutory requirements are reviewed for each technical assignment.
